Britney Spears’ conservator fires back at her father Jamie

The war of the conservators is becoming toxic.

Britney Spears’ personal conservator has ripped into the star’s father, Jamie, for making it seem that she won’t let him contact Britney or get involved in the conservatorship.

Jodi Montgomery’s lawyer filed documents in court in Los Angeles Friday slamming Jamie Spears for trying to make her the fall guy in the increasingly explosive battle over Britney.

“It is ironic that Mr. Spears now wants the conservatorship to ‘reflect her wishes,’ since it is no secret that Ms. Spears has wished her father out of her life for years,” she alleges in the document, TMZ reported Saturday.

Montgomery also claimed in court papers that Jamie has spent “more than $2 million of his daughter’s money” to defend himself in an attempt to remain conservator of her estate.

Montgomery also hit back at claims Jamie Spears has made about allegedly being unable to contact Britney because of her or anyone else.

“Ms. Spears is the one who cut him off … That is her choice not Ms. Montgomery’s,” Montgomery’s lawyer wrote in the court documents.

Montgomery also said she’s “committed to staying” as conservator so she can help Britney figure out a new care plan leading to the eventual end of the conservatorship. She called that “a goal that may not necessarily be shared by Mr. Spears.”

The fight between the conservators has heated up since Britney went public for the first time last month and told a court that her life under the conservatorship and care of her father was similar to “sex trafficking.”

Jamie Spears did not respond to a request for comment from The Post.
