It took the pop star quite a long time to publicly open up about the abusive conservatorship she is under but now that she has, fans and fellow celebs alike are shocked!

After the hearing, an attorney for Jamie, Vivian Thoreen, released a statement via US Weekly, telling the news outlet that ‘Mr. Spears is very sorry to see his daughter suffering and in such pain. Mr. Spears loves his daughter and misses her very much.’
This comes after Britney told a court in Los Angeles, in her first public hearing, that ‘I want to end the conservatorship without being evaluated. In the meantime, I also want this therapist to come to my home…I am not willing to go to Westlake and be embarrassed by all these paparazzi.’

And that was not even all! At some point, she even compared her father to a ‘sex trafficker’ claiming he traumatized her with his excessively controlling ways.
‘After I’ve lied and told the whole world I am OK and I am happy…I am not OK. I am not happy, I can’t sleep,’ she sadly revealed, making reference to the many times she tried to reassure worried fans about her wellbeing.
While her claims made many headlines because they finally came directly from her, most of the information she released was not unknown.
This is because various insiders have talked about the singer’s woes amid the whole conservatorship battle before.
