Bryson DeChambeau tweaks Brooks Koepka with US Open videobomb

Bryson DeChambeau got into Brooks Koepka’s shot again.

DeChambeau was in camera range of his rival at the U.S. Open on Thursday as Koepka was prepping for a postround interview with Golf Channel. The muscular one decided to say hello as he passed by.

Last month at the PGA Championship, DeChambeau strolled behind Koepka and said something while Koepka was being interviewed. Koepka rolled his eyes at the mere sight of DeChambeau. That reaction took the major champions’ lengthy beef to Grade A Prime level.

As part of the fallout, spectators at the Memorial Tournament yelled “Hey, Brooksie” to DeChambeau on the tee. Fans were removed from the course soon after. According to Golfweek, DeChambeau denied having a role in that.

The conflict even spilled into promotion of this year’s version of “The Match,” as Koepka apologized to DeChambeau’s playing partner — Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Koepka won Round 1 of their head-to-head Thursday with a 2-under 69 to DeChambeau’s 2-over 73 on Torrey Pines’ South Course. DeChambeau tried to find answers on the driving range in the dark of night (wait for the sound).

DeChambeau didn’t have much time to rest after wrapping up. He teed off Friday at 10:29 a.m. ET. Koepka is scheduled to tee off at 4:14 p.m. ET.
