Cyclist clinging to life after hitting pedestrian in NYC

A 28-year-old bicyclist is clinging to life after crashing into a pedestrian in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park on the Fourth of July, cops said.

The near-deadly collision occurred inside the park at West and Center drives near the 16th Street entrance in Windsor Terrace just after 9:30 a.m., authorities said.

The female cyclist was taken to Maimonides Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, while the 59-year-old man, who sources said was in the crosswalk, was taken to Methodist Hospital.

The cyclist was in the bike lane at the time, sources added.

The crash is under investigation by police.
