Derrick Lewis vs. Ciryl Gane fight date, time, odds, PPV price, card & location for UFC 265

UFC 265 will feature the heavyweights in the spotlight as Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane will battle for the interim UFC heavyweight championship at the Toyota Center in Houston.

With champion Francis Ngannou unable to compete in August, the UFC decided to book a showdown to determine who will get the next shot at Ngannou once he’s ready to defend his title. Lewis and Gane are riding undefeated streaks, and the two giants will step into the Octagon to find out who will get closer to championship gold.

Lewis is currently the No. 2 ranked heavyweight and actually holds a victory over Ngannou. He’s undefeated in his last four outings with victories over the likes of Curtis Blaydes and Aleksei Oleinik. He has had a shot at the heavyweight title before but came up short when he was submitted by Daniel Cormier in 2018.

The No. 3 ranked Gane heads into the interim title showdown having not lost a fight in either his MMA or Muay Thai careers. After going 13-0 in Muay Thai, the Frenchman made his MMA debut in 2018 and won three straight fights by knockout or submission before getting the call to join the UFC in 2019. He’s been unstoppable since then with a 6-0 record in the UFC with victories over Junior dos Santos, Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Alexander Volkov along the way.

It will be a home game for Lewis as The Black Beast currently fights out of Houston. He may need the home-field advantage against an opponent who has yet to taste defeat in his professional career.

Below is a full rundown of the schedule for UFC 265, with details on the fight matchups, start times, odds and more for the interim heavyweight title fight between Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane.
