Destiny 2 Seasonal Challenges Week 10 (Season of the Splicer)

Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer’s Week 10 Seasonal Challenges arrived on July 13, and in this guide we’ll show you how to complete them all.

Some Season 14 weekly Challenges are more involved than the others. Check out the descriptions below for advice on the fastest way to complete these Seasonal Challenges — particularly Split Focus, Threads of Light, and Explosive Calibration in Season 14 — before they expire on Aug. 24.

Split Focus

Challenge: Defeat combatants with melee grenade and Super abilities. Bonus progress for combatants defeated in Override or Expunge.

This is one of those “just play the game” Challenges. Kill enemies with a melee, grenade, and Super damage anywhere in the world. If you’re grinding Season of the Splicer activities you’ll finish this a little faster.

Threads of Light

Challenge: Defeat combatants in Override while wearing Season of the Splicer armor, with bonus progress for each subsequent piece equipped. Additionally, deposit Data Motes in Override. 100 total Data Motes.

You’ll need to wear Lightkin armor to finish this one, and the more you equip, the faster it’ll go. Just focus on depositing motes and you’ll finish the enemy kills naturally.

Explosive Calibration

Challenge: Calibrate explosive weapons — grenade launchers and rocket launchers. Bonus progress against Guardians.

Like the Calibration Challenges of past weeks, you’ll just need to kill enemies with specific kinds of weapons. This time, you’ll need to blow stuff up with rocket and grenade launchers.

Elemental Gambit

Challenge: Complete Gambit matches with each elemental subclass. Two of each. Stasis and Solar completions count toward the same category.

You’ll just need to finish six Gambit matches to finish this Challenge. Just make sure you finish two matches with an Arc subclass equipped, two with a Void subclass, and two with either a Solar or Stasis subclass.

Make sure to finish all of these and the rest of the Seasonal Challenges if you want to complete the Master of All Challenge by Aug. 24, which rewards a Large Bright Dust Pile.
