Fallen Order’ Studio Teases A New Single-Player Game

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order studio Respawn Entertainment is working on a new single-player game.

Respawn Entertainment, best known for creating Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, one of 2019’s most commercially and critically successful games, have begun work on their next project. Unfortunately, their upcoming project doesn’t appear to be a sequel for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but rather a whole new IP that the studio is creating. While the studio may be set on creating something entirely new, they were working on the Star Wars project all the way up until last month.

Originally released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2019, Respawn Entertainment launched a brand new, free update for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S last month. The new update allows gamers to play the game in 60 frames per second and it also featured shortened load times. It’s currently unclear when a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be released. Respawn Entertainment will be working on the sequel. The studio is large enough to work on multiple games, but it remains to be seen how large the company’s next IP is and when the Star Wars sequel will be released.

To tease their upcoming post-Star Wars project, Respawn’s Creative Director Mohammad Alavi shared new job postings that when fulfilled, will help shape the upcoming single-player game.
