I have ‘all of my teeth’ after altercation

Dwayne Haskins seemingly refuted reports that he lost a tooth after an alleged physical altercation with his wife that led to domestic battery charges being filed against her.

News reports Wednesday night indicated the backup Steelers quarterback lost his tooth after being punched in the mouth by his wife, Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins, on July 3 at a hotel in Las Vegas.

“However I have all of my teeth,” Haskins wrote on Instagram Thursday. “Don’t believe everything you read. Peace.”

According to initial reports, Haskin split his upper lip and required dental work to repair his teeth following the incident. KTNV reported that officers found blood and part of the missing tooth in the hotel room.

Haskins, who said he remembered getting into a fight with his wife but didn’t recall getting punched in the mouth, was taken to the hospital.

Gondrezick-Haskins faces a felony charge of battery and domestic violence resulting in bodily harm stemming from the alleged incident. She is due in court August 3.

The 24-year-old Haskins signed a one-year deal with the Steelers in January after being released by the Washington Football Team, which drafted him 15th overall in 2019, following poor play and off-field issues, including a violation of COVID-19 protocols.

The Steelers have said they would not comment on the situation.
