Jamie Munguia vs. Kamil Szeremeta fight date, time, PPV price, odds & location for 2021 boxing match

Jamie Munguia will make his return to the ring Saturday, June 19, when he faces Kamil Szeremeta at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas. The show will be streamed live exclusively on DAZN worldwide, excluding Mexico.

Munguia was set to face Maciej Sulecki on April 24 but Sulecki was pulled and replaced by D’Mitrius Ballard the day before the fight. Ballard then suffered an injury and the fight was scrapped. Munguia and Sulecki were rebooked for for June 19 but, once again, Sulecki withdrew. Szeremta stepped up, thus ensuring Munguia wouldn’t have his return put on hold again.

Szeremeta (21-1, five KOs) last fought in December and came up short against IBF champion Gennadiy Golovkin. He suffered the first loss of his career in a seventh-round knockout. He hopes to rebound against a rising star who is expected to become a major player in the middleweight division.

The undefeated Munguia is only 24 but already has a 36-0 record with 29 knockouts and held the WBO junior middleweight championship before making the move to middleweight. He has stopped his last three opponents and was impressive in his last outing when he forced Tureano Johnson to retire in the sixth round.
