John Collins trolls 76ers’ Joel Embiid with shirt of dunk

Atlanta Hawks big man John Collins is all the rave right now.

Collins alley-oop dunked on Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid in Game 6, somehow putting Embiid in a head-lock while rising up for the slam. Later that game, he provoked Embiid into a technical foul after drawing a charge. And after the Hawks defeated the Sixers 103-96 in Game 7, Collins got the last laugh, wearing a shirt showcasing his dunk on Embiid from Game 6.

The dunk was one of the most memorable moments of the postseason, symbolizing the rise of the Hawks and the embarrassing downfall of the 76ers.

Collins backed up his trash talk with his play, scoring 14 points on 5-for-6 shooting and grabbing 16 rebounds.

Now, the Hawks will face the Bucks in the Eastern Conference finals. Game 1 is Wednesday night in Milwaukee.

“Everybody is fired up,” Collins said after the Game 7 victory. “We have been working all year for this moment. To be in moments like this, Game 7, I feel like we all had each other’s back. We couldn’t want anymore than we got tonight and we pulled through for a victory.”
