Game notes: Casey Mize will look to continue his strong stretch; the rookie hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs in a start since April. After finishing up their four-game series Sunday, the Tigers head home and get Monday off. They then welcome the struggling St. Louis Cardinals for a two-game series before the Houston Astros visit Detroit. The Angels will stay home for two matchups with the San Fransisco Giants.
