While Britney Spears has been going through a tumultuous time fighting for her conservatorship, she has been receiving an abundance of support from fans and fellow superstars. Madonna is one of the latest to send a message on Britney’s behalf via Instagram.
“Give this woman her life back,” Madonna wrote. “Slavery was abolished so long ago! Death to the greedy patriarchy that has been doing this to women for centuries. This is a violation of human rights. Britney we coming to get you out go jail!”
As we previously reported, Britney spoke out about the harsh conditions she has been living in under the restraints off her father, Jamie Spears. She recently alleged her father has been drugging her with lithium and forcing her to be on birth control in a hearing where she desperately explained to a judge why she wants him removed from her conservatorship.
Britney alleged her father forced her to keep an IUD in place to prevent her from having anyone children, and explained the impact lithium had on her body.
“The control he had to hurt his own daughter, he loved it,” Britney stated. “I worked seven days a week…it was like sex trafficking. I didn’t have a credit card, cash or my passport.”
As for the lithium intake, Britney stated: “It’s a strong drug. You can go mentally impaired if you stay on it longer than five months. I felt drunk, I couldn’t even have a conversation with my mom or dad about anything. They had me with six different nurses.”
As we previously reported, the judge in the case recently denied Britney’s request to have her father removed as her sole conservator, despite her shocking testimony.
