Man killed in shooting at July Fourth block party on Long Island

A man was killed and two other people injured in a shooting at a Long Island block party on Sunday, police said.

The gunfire erupted amid a fight between two groups at the party on Hudson Avenue in Roosevelt at about 7:30 p.m., according to Nassau County police.

Three victims — two men and a woman — were struck by bullets, cops said.

One of the men, 27, died at the scene.

The other man, 21, was hospitalized in stable condition, and the 31-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in critical, but stable condition, police said.

No arrests were made as of early Monday, according to police.
