Michael Myers Returns In First ‘Halloween Kills’ Trailer

Michael Myers is on the loose once again in the first Halloween Kills trailer.

2018 saw Blumhouse and director David Gordon Green reboot the Halloween franchise by creating a direct sequel to the 1978 film. The film was a huge critical and commercial success, with many calling it the best in the franchise since the original. A sequel, Halloween Kills, was quickly commissioned, with the same creative team. Originally set to release in 2020, the film was pushed back to October 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic that shook up much of the film industry. Now that theatres around the world are slowly opening up, Blumhouse has released the terrifying new trailer of Halloween Kills, which shows Michael Myers on the loose once again, ready to kill anyone who gets in his way.

Halloween Kills take place immediately after the events of Halloween, with Michael Myers surviving the fire that Laure Strode and her daughter set. After walking away from the fire, Myers returns to the town of Haddonfield, ready to wreak havoc on the people who put him away. The trailer continues by showing Laurie Strode and her family banding together with the town to form a mob that will (hopefully) bring Michael Myers to justice.
