Microsoft to reveal its next generation of Windows on June 24th

Microsoft has planned on detailing its next-gen of Windows in an event sometime later this month. The company has started sending media invites for the launch of one Windows event due on 24 June.

Both CPO Panos Panay and chief executive officer Satya Nadella will present at the upcoming event that will begin at 11am ET on 24 June.

The invite comes a week post Nadella teased an announcement of next-gen of Windows. It is believed that the software giant will detail its upcoming major changes for Windows and will include an array of visual improvements. One can expect to see a few major UI changes for Windows in something that’s codenamed as Sun Valley. The event invite of Microsoft even seems to tease one new logo of Windows.

Last month, Microsoft confirmed that Windows 10X won’t be shipped anymore. The firm is rolling out visual elements of the Windows 10X now into main Windows 10 version instead.

Most visual work has been initiated already, with File Explorer enhancements, all-new system icons,as well as end of the Windows 95-generation icons. The company is also concentrating on enhancing the standard foundations of its Windows, with new fixes for one re-arranging apps problem on several monitors and enhancements to support for Bluetooth audio.
