‘My body is fighting them’

“Bachelorette” star Clare Crawley is having her breast implants removed for health reasons.

Crawley, 40, posted an Instagram video over the Fourth of July holiday weekend discussing persistent medical problems she’s experienced, spanning years.

“The truth is, I’ve been going through things medically with my body that I have not had answers to, to be honest,” says Crawley, who wears a white tank top in the video. “My skin has been having really bad hives and rash. My whole body is just inflamed and itchy. … I’ve had blood test after blood test. That is not my only symptom, but that is the most physical one.”

Crawley says she has seen doctors and tried numerous remedies. But tests were inconclusive as to what caused her ailments.

After two recent mammograms and an ultrasound, Crawley made the decision to have her breast implants removed following consultation with her doctor.

“As much as I love my implants, my body is fighting them and recognizes it as something obviously foreign in my body,” she says, adding that the decision isn’t for everyone. “This is my case, my body.”

“My body can’t heal. My body is in fight mode, constantly. It’s exhausting, it’s frustrating. It’s all making sense,” Crawley adds. “My health is the most important thing. They are coming out.”

Crawley promised to update her fans on Instagram on the process.

“I’m sharing this in hopes that it might help others going through something similar feel not so alone,” Crawley captioned her Instagram post. “I feel that this was important to share so I can be a resource for anyone going though this as well.”

The Sacramento-born hairstylist was runner-up on Season 18 of ABC’s “The Bachelor” and the lead of Season 16 of “The Bachelorette.”

Dale Moss, 32, who began dating Crawley after the two met on “The Bachelorette” in 2020, praised Crawley’s decision in the comments section of her post.

“So proud of you for sharing this love,” Moss wrote. “I know this wasn’t easy but will help so many other women going through what you’ve been experiencing. I love you & with you every step of the way❤️.”
