Congrats are in order to Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal Smith on the birth of their baby girl. Crystal took to social media to announce the birth of their daughter Isabella Rose Smith.
She shared a photo of her holding their baby girl while doing skin-to-skin, and Ne-Yo could be seen smiling with excitement. Crystal captioned the photo and said, “ISABELLA ROSE SMITH! 🌹 God said don’t make plans honey! She came 4 weeks early but right on time for mommy! Born at 11:11 am ( lucky lil lady) 5 lbs 7 oz of perfection 🥺🥰 My world is finally complete.”
This is Ne-Yo and Crystal’s third child together. They already share their sons Shaffer Chimere Smith, Jr. and Roman Alexander-Raj Smith. Ne-Yo shares his two eldest children Madilyn Grace Smith and Mason Evan Smith with his ex Monyetta Shaw.
Prior to conceiving their daughter Isabella, Ne-Yo and Crystal faced a rough patch within their marriage, where the option of divorce was on the table. However, the couple credits spending time together during the pandemic as one of the factors that led to their reconciliation.
On New Year’s he proposed to Crystal for a second time, and as they were surrounded by loved ones, he said,” I love you. I have decided, we have decided that this is our forever, yes? Ok, so, with that being said, I need you to know there’s nowhere else on the face of the planet that I would rather be. There’s no one else on the face of the planet that I’d rather be with. So with that being said, Crystal Renee Smith, will you marry me again?”
