New ‘Loki’ Poster Finally Reveals Jonathan Majors’ He Who Remains

All episodes of Loki are now streaming on Disney Plus.

A new and likely last poster from Marvel Studios’ Loki finally reveals Jonathan Majors’ He Who Remains.

Major spoilers ahead for Loki

The season one finale of Marvel’s latest Disney Plus offering saw the Loki duo finding out that the person behind the TVA is a man who refers to himself as He Who Remains. Essentially a variant of Kang the Conqueror, He Who Remains is a more benevolent ruler who has created the “sacred timeline” in a bid to thwart any and all nefarious variants that want to rule the multiverse. Played by Lovecraft Country‘s breakout star Jonathan Majors, He Who Remains is killed by Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie as the episode comes to a close, which results in the multiverse opening up.

Despite a rumor in the early weeks of the series’ run that Jonathan Majors would be appearing, details regarding the He Who Remains character were kept under wraps. Now that the cat’s finally out of the bag, the official Twitter account for the series has debuted an ethereal poster of He Who Remains, that evokes religious imagery. This is likely the final poster from the season considering there’s no one else left to debut. Unless Marvel wants to give us a Frog Thor poster, we’re not going to keep our hopes up for more Loki one-sheets anytime soon.
