Two people, including a 12-year-old girl, were killed in a violent two-car collision in Queens Saturday night — while two others were listed in critical condition, police sources said.
The deadly crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. on Rockaway Boulevard and Guy R. Brewer Boulevard near JFK International Airport, the sources told The Post.
The girl was traveling in one of the cars with a woman in her late 30s when the vehicle collided with the second car.
Both were taken to Jamaica Hospital and were later pronounced dead, the sources said.
Four people were in the second vehicle, with two of them rushed to the hospital and listed in critical condition. It is unclear if the other two were seriously injured.
Police have not released details of the crash, but shocking images from the wreck show the two vehicles reduced to crumpled metal.
A silver sedan is seen smashed up against a utility pole, with pieces of the car strewn about the pavement and airbags can be seen to have deployed.
Some distance away a dark-colored vehicle rests near another light pole, with the entire front end crushed in towards the driver’s seat.
Police are still investigating the fatal crash.
