Ohio high school football star accused of raping sleeping teen

A standout football player at a prestigious private high school in Ohio has reportedly been accused of entering a girl’s bedroom as she slept, undressing her and then sexually assaulting her.

Crosley MacEachen, 18, who graduated from the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy — where full tuition costs $16,100 — was charged in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court with rape, gross sexual imposition and sexual battery, according to WLWT.

The school’s former star player planned to play football at the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in the fall — but his June arrest may have upended his dreams.

According to court documents cited by the Cincinnati Enquirer, the teen girl was asleep in the bedroom of a Symmes Township home on Dec. 6, 2020.

She woke up at about 5 a.m. with MacEachen “on top of her,” having sexual intercourse with her, the newspaper reported.

“She pushed him off of her and realized she was naked, despite wearing clothes when she went to sleep,” according to the documents.

A month earlier, MacEachen allegedly grabbed the girl’s butt at another address in Sycamore Township.

“She sat down on the bed and when she tried to get up and move away from him he pushed her back down. She fled the house,” the documents state.

MacEachen has been charged with gross sexual imposition, rape and sexual battery.

His attorney Scott Croswell emphasized that the case is based on “unproven allegations.”

“We intend to aggressively defend the case,” he told the Enquirer.

MacEachen, who played football at Moeller High School before transferring to Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy for his senior year, is free after a family member posted a $100,000 bond.

In a statement to WLWT, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy said: “CHCA has learned of an investigation which has resulted in charges filed against a former student. The alleged incident did not occur on school property nor during a school-sponsored event.”

It added: “CHCA is saddened for the individuals and families affected by this alleged incident, and our prayers remain with them.”
