The K-Pop-obsessed white influencer who had 18 surgeries so they could “identify as Korean” is getting overwhelmed with death threats, according to an interview posted Wednesday.
“This week has been insane — I’ve literally had thousands of death threats,” Oli London, who now uses the name Jimin after the surgeries to look like BTS star Park Jimin, told TMZ.
“People telling me to kill myself, people telling me they’re going to come and find me and shoot me. Like, really extreme stuff,” said the newly named Jimin, who uses them and they pronouns.
“Which is very scary,” said the British-born social media influencer, who said most of the attacks were from “extreme radical left.”
“People don’t get it,” the controversial figure said of being “transracial.”
“I do equate it to the same as being transsexual … I feel like I was born in the wrong body. I should have been Jimin in a different life,” the newly transformed viral social media figure told TMZ.
London insisted they were not being racist — insisting the surgeries to their eyes is no different than what happens in many Asian countries.
“Got to Asia, go to Korea, and one in five people have eye surgery to look westernized, to have caucasian features,” Jimin claimed.
“It’s totally normal there — I’m just doing the reverse.”
