Paris Hilton and Nicky Rothschild are open to appearing in a sequel to “White Chicks” after Marlon Wayans revealed that they were the muses for the 2004 film.
“I’m not thinking of what I would want to do in the film, they know exactly what they’re doing,” Paris told The Post.
As for her sister Nicky, “I do not have any personal ideas for our cameo in Part 2 but I will leave it to the professionals.”
Terry Crews first brought up talk about a sequel in 2019 on “Watch What Happens Live,” telling Andy Cohen that plans were discussed with Shawn Wayans.
Marlon Wayans revealed in late June that his brother and “White Chicks” co-star Shawn Wayans came up with the idea to make the film — centered around two FBI agents who go undercover to protect a hotel heiress from a kidnapping plot — after looking at pictures of the Hilton heiresses on a magazine cover.
“Funny story one day my brother @therealdjsw1 calls me at 3am saying ‘Marlon we should play white chicks,’” he wrote in an Instagram post, posing with Paris, 40.
Hilton called the movie “hilarious” and said she’s laughed about the portrayal over the years.
“I think that imitation is the highest form of flattery,” she said. “I thought the movie was hilarious just seeing them playing inspirations of us. I was just with Marlon last week and every time I look at him I think of ‘White Chicks.’ I thought the movie was so genius and hilarious it was laugh-out-loud funny 2000 humor. I always want to laugh at myself and have fun so I didn’t mind.”
While Hilton seems to be in on the joke, Rothschild said the Wayans brothers initially denied the movie was about the sisters.
“It’s funny because I bumped into the Wayans brothers at the MTV Awards in the green room and I just heard about the movie and the Wayans brothers were standing there and I’m like a 20-year-old at this point,” Rothschild said. “I look at them and say, ‘Nice movie, wonder what it’s about.’ And they were like, ‘No no no it’s not about you,’ and I’m like ‘Yeah ok.’”
Rothschild doesn’t seem to mind it, though, and even divulged the movie’s top moment for her.
“Hands-down my favorite scene is the dance-off because personally we would go to the Hamptons clubs and they were very fun and everyone was dancing so I love the dance scene,” she said.
Nicky also applauded the Wayans brothers for getting some details right.
“I think it was a very characterized version of us but they definitely got some of the brands down,” she said. “The Dior logo stuff, the Juicy world tour ‘Dude where’s my couture?’ shirt. So they definitely took inspiration from my wardrobe that is for sure. They did their homework.”
Even though the style of the characters was on point, Nicky does have one personal regret when it comes to her past looks.
“I always say I regret the overuse of the tanning bed,” she said. “There’s some pretty orange-y photos out there but other than that I don’t have too many fashion regrets. But I did notice when I was watching the film recently all the styles are trending today. So it’s so funny how history always repeats itself.”
