Pennsylvania town sees suspicious wave of dog deaths

Authorities in a Pennsylvania town are investigating a suspicious wave of dog deaths.

The dogs were found dead under mysterious circumstances in the East Side neighborhood of Allentown, Lehigh Valley Live reported.

“This is an active and ongoing investigation,” police Capt. Michael Becker Jr. told the outlet.

The deaths occurred in the 2000 block of East Cedar Street and surrounding areas, police said.

But authorities did not release the dogs’ cause of death, how many dogs have died or whether any suspects have been identified in the case.

“More information will be released when available,” Becker said.
