Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow’ Audience CinemaScore Revealed

The official audience CinemaScore for Marvel Studios’ Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson has been revealed.

Since 1978, CinemaScore has polled audiences on major film releases on opening night to collect demographic information and calculate a distinctive letter grade for a film based on moviegoers’ averages. With Marvel Studios’ Black Widow finally out in theaters, CinemaScore has officially revealed that Scarlett Johansson’s long-awaited standalone film has received an A- grade.

Marvel Studios has had a pretty solid record with its numerous films’ CinemaScore grades. All of Scarlett Johansson’s MCU appearances including Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame all received at least an A grade, with The Avengers and Avengers: Endgame both receiving the rare A+ grade.

It appears that audiences are enjoying Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow overall. With the A- CinemaScore taken into account, the film also has a 92% approval from Audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. It also currently has a 7.1 rating on IMDb from audiences.

In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

Directed by Cate Shortland from a script written by Eric Pearson based on a story by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson, the Marvel film stars Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, Ray Winstone, Olivier Richters, and Rachel Weisz.
