‘Shazam 2’ Set Photos Offer First Look At Helen Mirren’s Hespera

New set photos from Shazam! Fury of the Gods gives us our first look at Helen Mirren’s Hespera with Zachary Levi as filming continues in Georgia.

Several DC projects are in production at the moment. On Sunday, a ton of set photos from The Flash hit the internet and featured the first looks at Michael Keaton as an older Bruce Wayne, Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, Kiersey Clemon’s return as Iris West, and Ezra Miller as Barry Allen. On Monday across the pond, we have new Shazam! Fury of the Gods set photos that feature the first look at Helen Mirren as Hespera.

David F. Sandberg dropped an official look at the Shazam family in their new suits earlier today. Hours later and we have another look at Zachary Levi’s Shazam suit along with Helen Mirren’s Hespera. In the set photos, it looks like Hespera and Shazam are enjoying some cheesecake together in a scene for the film. You can see the set photos for yourself below:

Here is the official synopsis for the first Shazam! movie:

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quick.

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, and Djimon Hounsou.

Shazam! is available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD, while Fury of the Gods will hit theaters on June 2, 2023. Keep it locked to Stock Market Pioneer for all the latest on Helen Mirren as Hespera and be sure to subscribe to HH’s YouTube channel for more video content!
