‘Superman and Lois’ Preview Brings Back Notable ‘Arrow’ Character

Superman and Lois will go on another hiatus until July 13th.

A preview for the next episode of Superman and Lois teases the return of a character from Arrow.

There are only a few episodes left in Superman and Lois‘ first season, and things are heating up. It was recently revealed Morgan Edge is Kal-El’s half-brother from Krypton, and in last week’s episode, Superman decides to joins Tal-Roh to protect his family. This twist now brings us closer to John Henry Irons’ warning of an evil Man of Steel in his universe.

So far, Superman and Lois hasn’t connected to the Arrowverse that much, if at all. However, the preview for the next episode teases that we will see the return of David Ramsey as John Diggle. Ramsey recently helmed an upcoming episode of Legends of Tomorrow and played Bass Reeves, who you may remember from HBO’s Watchmen. The last time we saw Diggle, it was teased in the Arrow finale that he would become a Green Lantern. You can watch the preview for “Through the Valley of Death” ahead:

Will Diggle show up as a Green Lantern? Feel free to speculate in the comments!

Here is the synopsis for the series:

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch star as Superman & Lois, the world’s most famous superhero and comic books’ most famous journalist, as they return to Smallville to face their greatest challenge ever – dealing with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.

In addition to Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, the series stars Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin as the sons of the titular characters, Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, and Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing. Written by The Flash‘s Todd Helbing, the series will be executive produced by Helbing, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns.
