Teen stabs Uber driver in Westchester

A girl stabbed an Uber driver during a fight in Westchester County on Friday, a report said.

The driver had picked up five passengers from shopping complex New Roc City in New Rochelle at just before 2:30 p.m. when an argument broke out with a juvenile female passenger, ABC 7 reported.

When the driver stopped to let the passengers out, the girl and the driver fought – then a second juvenile passenger jumped in and stabbed the driver twice, ABC said.

The passengers fled but were later arrested, the station reported.

The driver was treated at Jacobi Hospital and his injuries were said to be non-life-threatening.

The two girls were charged with assault.

Two other passengers, both Bronx residents, were slapped with gun possession charges.

David Owens, 20, was carrying a loaded “ghost gun” with no serial number and a high capacity magazine, the station said.

Omar Gaines, 18, was carrying a 9mm handgun, the report stated.
