The Olympic events to watch on Sunday, July 25: Basketball, Simone Biles

Day 2 of the Olympics is will be chock-full of popular events and will allow fans to view the U.S. men’s basketball team and the women’s gymnastics team begin their chance for gold.

While there will be no gymnastics or basketball medals given out, this will be the first time to see how these teams compare to the competition.

Early morning events may be broadcasted live, but many will be shown as recordings later in the day to account for the 13 hour time difference.

If you miss an event, they can be streamed at Peacock, NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports App. fuboTV will also air the action.

Here are the Olympic events taking place on Sunday, July 25 and where you can watch them.

Event Spotlight

Cycling: The cycling events in Tokyo include road cycling, a variety of indoor track cycling races, cross-country mountain biking and BMX (racing and freestyle). The first spin is the men’s and women’s road races on hilly courses situated at the foot of Mount Fuji. On the women’s side, the Dutch are prohibitive favorites; the men’s field is more open.

Event Spotlight

3×3 Basketball: In its Olympic debut, the 3×3 basketball tournament will have eight teams in both the men’s and women’s categories. A team wins when it reached 21 points first, or whoever has the most points in 10 minutes. The United States will be represented by just a women’s squad made up of Kelsey Plum, Stefanie Dolson and Allisha Gray.
