The popular streaming service just dropped the trailer for its brand new blind dating show “Sexy Beasts” that features contestants (wait for it)…all dressed in various animal costumes. The point of “Sexy Beasts” is for the contestants to fall in love with personality instead of looks—and Netflix is hoping to help them along the way.
Netflix fans are about to find out what happens when you combine the streaming service’s other hit dating show “Love Is Blind” with FOX’s reality competition series “The Masked Singer”—as the official trailer for “Sexy Beasts” just dropped and sending fans into a frenzy.
The premise of the show is pretty simple, single men and women go on a series of blind dates decked out in elaborate special effects animal makeup and animal costumes. With the intent of falling in love with someone’s personality first instead of their physical features, the show was instantly one of the top trending topics on Twitter.
According to the show’s official description, the premise is as follows:
“Sexy Beasts” is the dating show that takes looks completely out of the equation using fantastical, cutting-edge prosthetics to transform the daters — giving them a chance to find love purely based on personality!”
“Sexy Beasts” will officially be available for streaming on Netflix beginning July 21st with 12 episodes.
