USA Olympic gymnastics schedule: How to watch 2021 women’s, men’s individual & team events

The U.S. women’s gymnastics team seems poised for another run at a gold medal during the 2021 Olympic Games. The team has taken home the gold in back-to-back Olympic appearances in London and Rio and with Simone Biles on the team once again, they will be among the top contenders in Tokyo.

Meanwhile, the men’s team will look to ride the experience of Sam Mikulak as the team hopes to medal in the team competition for the first time since taking home bronze in 2008.

Gymnastics will certainly be a marquee event for Team USA because of Biles’ presence. She’s considered by many to be the greatest gymnast of all time, and though she’s the only member of the four-woman squad with previous Olympic experience, she and her teammates will command a lot of attention and are, rightfully, considered the gold medal favorites at the Summer Games.

Because of that, viewers in the United States are going to want to catch these gymnasts in action. Here is how you can watch Team USA live at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and when each of their events will occur during the competition.

  • TV channels: NBC, USA, CNBC

NBC owns the exclusive Olympics broadcast rights so all gymnastics coverage will occur on its family of networks. NBC itself won’t be showing any live gymnastics coverage but it will be showing tape delays of the major events, including the women’s team final, in prime-time.

USA and CNBC will cover the live gymnastics events, most of which will begin between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. ET.
