Listing Anderson .Paak’s accomplishments requires a deep breath. Here goes:
The singer, rapper, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist has released four studio albums. His Tiny Desk Concert is the most viewed in the history of the NPR series. His songs — which run the gamut from funk to R&B — are featured in Forza Horizon, Madden, NBA Live, and FIFA. He has collaborated with the likes of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, André 3000, Smokey Robinson, Nate Dogg, Christina Aguilera, Earl Sweatshirt, and Rick Ross, to name a select few. He has formed two musical duos, the latest being with Bruno Mars.
He has also won four Grammys.
Yet somehow, he still finds time to play video games. And next week, he’s joining us for one of his favorites. .Paak, along with jazz prodigies DOMi and JD Beck, will be teaming up to take on Team Stock Market Pioneer in a series of 3v3 matches in Valorant. We’ll also chat about his history with video games, his storied musical career, and how he manages to balance so many different talents.
