Tom Daley has been spotted again working on a knitting masterpiece at the Tokyo Olympics.

The 27-year-old sitting in the stands knitting has become a familiar sight at the Games, with cameras capturing his ongoing creations several times.

He has already knitted a special pouch to keep his gold medal safe and has now been spotted working on a new project – a giant Team GB sweater.

Four-time Olympian Daley, who won his first gold medal with Matty Lee in the synchronised 10m platform last week, is a keen knitter, with a dedicated Instagram page to show off his creations.

He was spotted knitting his way through the women’s three metres springboard diving final on Sunday then again during the preliminary round of the men’s 3m springboard at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre.

The white woollen creation features the Olympic rings as well as a Union Jack flag and ‘Team GB’ in red.
