The winner of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series at Nashville Superspeedway just can’t lose right now.
Kyle Larson made it three consecutive wins in points-paying races and four victories in a row overall, counting the All-Star Race, as he dominated the Ally 400. The Hendrick Motorsports driver was more than four seconds ahead of runner-up Ross Chastain at the checkered flag.
Larson has won at Sonoma, Charlotte, Texas and Nashville during his streak.

Who won the NASCAR race yesterday?
Kyle Larson won for the fourth time in a row, and as he has done for most of the streak, he ran away and hid from the field. He led 264 of the race’s 300 laps Sunday on the 1.333-mile oval at Nashville.
“We never really had to run behind people, so I don‘t know if one of my teammates got out front again, it probably would have been hard to pass them,” Larson said after the race. He said his No. 5 Chevrolet “was really good.”
“It cut the middle of the corner really well and our pit crew did an awesome job again,” he said. “I just hope we can keep it going.”
The most excitement came after the race. NASCAR disqualified Larson’s teammate Chase Elliott, the reigning series champion, after a postrace inspection found five lug nuts were loose on Elliott’s No. 9 car. Elliott was dropped from 13th place to last, which on Sunday was 39th, and awarded just one point. Elliott won Stage 1, so he lost 10 bonus points and one playoff point as part of the DQ.
NASCAR results from Nashville
Kyle Larson kept his win streak going Sunday with another runaway victory. Larson is still second in the Cup Series point standings but just 10 points behind leader Denny Hamlin with nine races remaining in the regular season. He leads the series with four wins in points-paying races.
The rest of the top five was Ross Chastain, William Byron, polesitter Aric Almirola and Kevin Harvick.
The Cup Series will now get ready for a weekend doubleheader at Pocono. Race 1 will be 3 p.m. ET Saturday; Race 2, the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350, will be 3:30 p.m. ET Sunday. NBCSN will televise both races. MRN will have radio coverage both days.
The starting lineup for Saturday’s race will be set by the mathematical formula NASCAR is using for the majority of races in 2021. The Sunday lineup will be set differently: NASCAR will invert the order of the top 20 finishers in Saturday’s race. The race winner will start 20th, the runner-up will start 19th, and so on. The bottom half of the field will be the cars that finish 21st through 40th (or whatever number of cars race) on Saturday.
