Police probe connections between death of baby found on freeway, man slain in apartment and woman dead in car crash

The police are investigating potential connections between the death of a baby found on a freeway, a man slain in an apartment, and a woman who died in a car crash in the Los Angeles area.

These incidents occurred in different locations but are being examined for any possible links. The first incident involved the discovery of an infant’s body on Interstate 405, with a young girl also found at the scene and taken to the hospital.

The second incident was a fatal crash on the Pacific Coast Highway, where a driver collided with a tree and was pronounced dead.

The third incident took place at an apartment complex in Woodland Hills, where a man was found dead, and authorities are treating it as a murder.

The police are working to determine if there are any connections between these three tragic events and are seeking information from the public to aid in their investigation.

The latest update on the investigation of the baby’s death on the freeway is that the North Little Rock Police Department has arrested two individuals in connection to the double homicide of a mother and her two-month-old son.

The baby’s cause of death has not yet been released. The suspects, Willie Mott Jr. and Diane Mott, were arrested on charges of capital murder, attempted capital murder, hindering apprehension or prosecution, and tampering with physical evidence.

Authorities believe that Willie Mott Jr. shot and killed the mother at their apartment and is the father of the infant child who died.

Diane Mott, Willie Mott Jr.’s mother, is being held on charges of hindering apprehension or prosecution and tampering with physical evidence.

The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the NLRPD tip line or Detective Gibbons.

The investigation into the baby’s death on the freeway is ongoing, and no suspect has been publicly identified as of the latest update on April 9, 2024.

The California Highway Patrol Major Crimes Unit is seeking assistance from the public regarding the incident, which occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Interstate 405 near the boundary between Culver City and Los Angeles.

The body of a girl, believed to be under 1 year old, was found along the freeway, and another girl, under 10 years old, was rescued from the scene and hospitalized.

The investigation is being conducted in collaboration with the Los Angeles Police Department and the Redondo Beach police to determine if there are any connections between this incident and two other incidents in the Los Angeles area that left a man and a woman dead on the same day.
